Police searching for woman after disturbing video shows her abduction
MIAMI, Fla. (FOX 35 Orlando) - The Miami Police Department says that they are searching for a woman who was abducted on Friday night.
On Saturday, the department made several posts on social media detailing the incident. They said that on Friday night, surveillance video captured a young lady being abducted from a store located at 2345 NW 36 Street. She was taken by force and placed into a newer model four-door white Nissan Altima with a paper tag.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police at 305-603-6370 or 911.
Miami Police Commander Freddie Cruz said that they need any and all information on this incident. "It does not matter how little it is or a speculation or anything. Any information at this information is important." He even stated that you don't have to "live in Miami" to help.
Cruz also said that the department does not "know the whereabouts of this young lady. We don't know if she's hurt." He continued and stated that "this is someone's daughter, this is someone's sister, someone's family member. We need to apprehend this individual. We need to bring this young lady back home to safety."
