Orlando police detectives spent the better part of Friday digging in the backyard of a home.

Investigators late Friday evening confirmed they have discovered the body of a 44 -year-old man in a large, freshly dug hole.  That man was identified as Marcos Lluveras.

After more than 12 hours of digging, investigators shared very little information with nearby residents in the 400 block of Delicata Drive.

“All day long, all the neighbors have been going over, and they will not tell anybody anything. They won’t give any information,” said neighbor Mike Cabe.

Detectives had been at the home on Delicata Drive since 8:30 a.m. with shovels in hand and a tarp thrown over the roof.

“It started out with just the police officers a couple of them, and then the next thing you know, the whole road is just blocked,” said Cabe.

Investigators from the medical examiner's office were among those on scene.

“I asked one of the officers if there was something that I needed to be concerned of. He told me there was just something suspicious, nothing to be concerned,” said neighbor Nery Marshall.

Cabe said the lack of communication left him and other frustrated.

“I know they’re doing their job, but at least let us know,” he added.

Authorities said Lluveras did not reside at the home. Neighbors believe several men in their 20s or 30s rent the home. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS (8477).
