Police clear possible crime scene in Daytona Beach

Police have cleared the scene of a possible shooting in Daytona Beach. 

A call came into the Daytona Beach Police Department around 4 a.m. on Tuesday. Officers responded to a report of a shooting on Caroline Street at the South Street intersection.

 


 

However, upon arrival, police reportedly did not find anything. They canvassed the area and talked to neighbors as well to ensure that the scene was clear.

Shortly before 6 a.m., police declared the scene all clear, as they did not find evidence of a shooting.
