Police: 8 injured when truck sideswipes Lynx bus

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A semi-truck driver has been charged with carelessness, after authorities said he sideswiped a Lynx Bus, leaving eight people injured.

The truck was traveling southbound in the 4300 block of Orange Blossom Trail around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, when the driver attempted to pass the bus.  As the truck attempted to pass, the driver struck the side of the bus,  breaking some of its windows. 

The eight injured were transported to a hospital, complaining of neck and back pain.
