Hurricane Debby: See photos, videos of storm damage around Florida

Hurricane Debby made landfall early Monday morning near Steinhatchee, Florida, as a Category 1 storm. 

Debby, which has since been downgraded to a tropical storm, continues to bring heavy rains and strong winds as it makes its way inland on Monday. 

Viewers have sent photos and videos of storm damage to FOX 35, ranging from downed trees and flipped over campers to collapsed pool covers. Across the Sunshine State, law enforcement agencies and government entities have also been posting storm damage, including flooding and rescue efforts.

Hurricane Debby prompts closure of Florida college campuses Monday

Cocoa

In Cocoa, five campers were blown over by straight-line winds, according to Brevard County Fire Rescue. One person was injured. 

In a statement, the National Weather Service said:

"The National Weather Service Forecast Office in Melbourne is aware of the damage to several RVs in the Sonrise Palm RV Park in Cocoa and are working closely with Brevard County Fire Rescue and Emergency Management. We will continue to analyze photos of the damage and corresponding radar imagery to determine its cause."

Christmas Estates, Orange County

Cedar Key

Tallahassee

The City of Tallahassee shared videos on social media of crews working to repair power poles damaged by Hurricane Debby.

Alachua

The Alachua Police Department shared photos of officers working to clear a large tree that blocked lanes of Interstate 75. 

Citrus County

The Citrus County Sheriff's Office shared photos of flooding in the area. 

Sarasota

Several agencies in Sarasota shared photos of storm damage and flooding around the area. 

Bradenton

Bradenton police officers reported minor damage, including downed limbs and trees. 

Bradenton's fire department responded to a tree that fell on a home in the 1200 block of 22nd St. W., according to the police department. No one was located at the home. 

Hernando County

The Hernando County Sheriff's Office shared photos and videos of damage and flooding around the area. 

Sheriff Al Nienhuis also shared an update about a car that drove into a ditch filled with water on Wiscon Road and a tree down in Spring Hill.
