ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - The University of Central Florida (UCF) is getting a brand new hotel.
The Pegasus Hotel will feature 179 rooms and suites. It will also have more than 10,000 square feet of conference and event space. Also featured at the hotel, there will be an active lobby bar and three meal-a-day restaurant, a take-way pantry, and room service. Finally, there will also a pool.
The hotel is joint venture between DEVEN Group, Demetree Global and Pinnacle Hotel Management. The hotel will carry a Tribute by Marriott flag and will be managed by Pinnacle Hotel Management.
"We have a long and successful relationship with the University of Central Florida and look forward to bringing a world class destination hotel to their campus" said Dennis Biggs of DEVEN.
"We have enjoyed over 20 years in the UCF market since opening our first hotel, the Courtyard by Marriott in Collegiate Square. We look forward to the opportunity to open a truly first class hotel and convention center in the market," said Ron Franklin, president, Pinnacle Hotel Management.

The hotel will be located at the intersection of University Drive and Alafaya Trail at the main entrance to the UCF campus. It is set to open in the spring of 2020.
