Pasco child flown to hospital after rattlesnake bite
LAND O' LAKES, Fla. (FOX 13) - Emergency crews are treating a child who was bitten by a snake at a Pasco County home this afternoon.
According to Pasco Fire Rescue, the 9-year-old had to be flown to St. Joseph's Hospital for antivenin treatment after being bitten by a juvenile diamondback rattlesnake.
The bite happened at a home on Dajana Avenue in the Asbel Estates neighborhood of Land O' Lakes.
No other details were immediately available.
