Palm Bay Police: Barricaded shooting suspect fatally shot himself

PALM BAY, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - A man who was suspected in a shooting in Palm Bay fatally killed himself Thursday morning, according to police.

Officers were in a standoff with the suspect after he barricaded himself inside a home near Babcock St. and Fallon Blvd.

The police department said that a 911 caller had said he wanted to kill himself, which become a domestic situation where two other people were shot. 

Police have not determined a motive for the incident, but say it appeared to be an attempted murder-suicide. 

A woman and teenager were reportedly the two victims shot. There are expected to survive their injuries
