Overturned truck shuts down NB lanes of S.R. 429 in Winter Garden

WINTER GARDEN, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - All northbound lanes of State Road 429 were shut down Wednesday morning in Winter Garden, just south of the Florida Turnpike, because of an overturned semi-truck.

The semi-truck, at approximately 5:45 a.m., was hauling sand when it overturned near mile marker 21. Sand was spilled across the travel lanes. 

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) says that the truck's right had traveled onto the right shoulder, where there was a 10 to 12 inch drop off. The vehicle steered back towards the left and overturned onto its side. 

Sand was said to have spilled from the overturned truck, across the northbound lanes.
