PALM BAY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - An overturned gasoline tanker truck has forced authorities in Palm Bay to shut down Malabar Road, east of Interstate 95, as well as Babcock Street south of Charles Blvd. NE and Babcock Street north of Agora Circle. Malabar Road is expected to be closed for several hours and this is likely to impact rush hour traffic, so commuters are being advised to avoid the area.
Traffic backups are being reported on Interstate 95 near the Malabar Rd. exit as a result of the road closure, and authorities were epected to close access ramps while emergency crews work to clean up the crash scene. No injuries have been reported .
