Police: Woman dead after crash with fire truck in Daytona Beach
Officials said they believe the car was speeding when it hit the fire truck on its side, forcing the truck to flip over.
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - A Daytona Beach fire truck overturned after a car crashed into it on Saturday.
It happened on Clyde Morris Boulevard. Investigators said the fire truck was pulling out of a parking lot while trying to make a left turn.
Officials said they believe the car was speeding when it hit the fire truck on its side, forcing the truck to flip over. The female driver of the other car died in the crash.

Fire truck overturns in deadly crash
Investigators are looking into a deadly crash involving a car and an overturned fire truck in Daytona Beach.
"It's bad we're gonna work it as a traffic homicide investigation. I can tell you the driver was alive when she left the scene but she sustained some very serious injuries," Daytona Beach Police Chief Jakari Young said.
The firefighters are expected to be okay and no charges are expected.
