Orlando weather forecast: July 3, 2023

FOX 35 Storm Team Meteorologist Ian Cassette gives us a look at the Fourth of July forecast and if you should pack an umbrella, sunscreen or both.

Tonight's low: 77 degrees | Tomorrow's high: 96 degrees

Main weather concerns: Big heat is set to continue through this week with no end in sight just yet.

For the Fourth of July, highs return to the mid to upper 90s inland with feels-like temps as high as 105 to 110 degrees. Please listen to your body and take breaks from the outside! Daily afternoon storms are also expected to return for the Fourth of July, too.

Heavy thunderstorms will be possible Tuesday mostly from 1-9 p.m. across Central Florida. A stronger east sea breeze could push better rain chances west towards Ocala, Clermont and Leesburg by the evening, so keep an eye on the radar!

While severe storms are not expected, heavy rain and frequent lightning could still be a threat.

OUTLOOK: With tropical moisture here, we'll continue to see high levels of heat through this week and afternoon storms.

This trend should last through this weekend, so you'll need to keep that umbrella and water bottle close!

Highs will reach well into the 90s, even into the weekend.

TRACKING THE TROPICS: It remains quiet in the tropics with no tropical development expected in the next 7 days. We will continue to monitor the Atlantic so keep with us at FOX 35!
