ORLANDO, Fla. - Tonight's low: 68 degrees | Tomorrow's high: 83 degrees
Main weather concerns: It will be a comfortable night with most areas falling into the mid-60s to low 70s. A northeast wind will develop Tuesday and carry through late week. Expect gusts of 20-25 mph. This is due to a large high-pressure system developing over the East Coast and Tammy out in the Atlantic. These winds will bring rough surf conditions with waves of 4-7 feet and a high rip current risk. Rain chances will remain limited with only a few coastal showers this week.
BEACHES:
It will be a nice day along our east coach beaches. There will be some afternoon clouds, but it will stay mostly dry all day. Forecast highs reach the upper-70s to around 80 with overnight lows in the 60s. Winds will bring rough surf conditions with waves of 4 to 7 feet and a high rip current risk.
THEME PARKS:
A 50/50 mixture of clouds and sunshine. Expect no rain chance and afternoon highs near 85 degrees. Don't forget your hat and sunglasses. Enjoy!
OUTLOOK:
No notable chance of rain, storms, or big temperature swings for at least 7-8 days. There are some indications after Halloween on the 31st things could cool down again with a front, but we have plenty of time to watch that as we get closer.
TROPICS:
Tammy remains a hurricane moving north of the eastern Caribbean islands in the Atlantic Ocean. It is expected to weaken as it runs into a large high-pressure system and drier air. Regardless, Tammy will create rough seas this week until it eventually moves away.
Elsewhere, Tropical Depression 21 has formed near the southern coast of Nicaragua. It will quickly move onto land and bring heavy rain over Central America this week. This system is not expected to head our way.
