ORLANDO, Fla. - There are a few lingering showers through this evening, and then rain tapers off for most overnight. Another round of rain arrives Thursday morning as our front is expected to push through Central Florida and exit into the Atlantic.
A few storms will be possible along with a line of showers. Severe weather is not expected, but rain could be heavy at times with gusty winds and lightning possible. Behind the front, clouds will gradually clear with a breezy NW wind moving through the rest of the day. The highs will warm into the mid to upper 70s.
LOOKING AHEAD: High pressure will keep us sunny and quiet through Easter weekend. Highs will be close to the average, near 80. Into next week, a warming trend will bring us well into the 80s until our next front arrives by midweek.
