Orlando Weather Forecast: March 6, 2023

Temperatures will heat up over the weekend with increased chances for precipitation.

From Wednesday night into Thursday morning, expect some patchy fog developing across inland areas and stubborn, dense fog possible around Interstate 75.

Over the next two days, there will be a blend of clouds and sunshine, with temperatures in the lower 80s. There is a slight shower chance, but it is not significant.

BEACH FORECAST: Surf will be from 3–5 feet with moderate rip current risk. High tide in the 5 p.m. hour on our east coast beaches.

THEME PARK FORECAST: Bring light, comfy clothing, as things will feel much warmer and more humid.

THE WEEKEND AND BEYOND: We are expecting record-challenging heat on Saturday, with temperatures in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees in the city. Orlando's record for March 9 is 89 degrees from 1905, and we could tie or break that record.

There will be a blend of clouds and sun with a small shower chance. Late in the evening, areas around and north of Gainesville will have to keep an eye on the radars for storms approaching that could be strong to severe.

That is with a cold front that will come across the state during the morning and midday Sunday, bringing a few rain showers and many clouds.

The final round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational will be a bit cloudy with a chance of sprinkles, for sure, but nothing major. Early next week it will be much cooler, drier, and brighter, with comfortable nights and pleasant afternoons in the mid-70s for highs!
