Orlando Weather Forecast: Dec. 5, 2023

Cooler air is settling over the Florida Peninsula. Wednesday will be a day of mostly sunshine with lows in the 40s and 50s. Highs will only crack the mid-60s across most of the region.

A good deal of clouds will accompany dry weather across Central Florida overnight as humidity continues to lower. Temperatures will be around 50 or so by Wednesday morning with a blend of sunshine and a few clouds. It will be noticeably chilly with highs well below our average in the mid-60s. Overnight Wednesday night into early Thursday will be the coolest night of the week with lows in the bottom half of the 40s, and a slight wind chill making it feel colder than that as well.

Tonight's low: 56 degrees | Tomorrow's high: 73 degrees

BEACHES:

It will be cool at the beaches. A few more clouds will roll in on Thursday and Friday with a 10% chance of a shower or sprinkle along the immediate beaches on Thursday and Friday. Wednesday will be dry there though.

THEME PARKS:

The theme parks will be cooler with a sun & cloud mix. The high temperatures park-side will peak in the mid-60s this afternoon. Keep a jacket handy, especially if you are heading to the parks early or late in the day!

OUTLOOK:

A few sprinkles or showers coming off the Atlantic are possible along the I-95 corridor on Thursday and Friday. Elsewhere, just a blend of clouds and sunshine.

Temperatures and humidity will rise heading into Saturday and back into the low 80s by Saturday afternoon!

Sunday we are watching a strong system and cold front that will move through the region. At some point during the day, heavy showers and storms, strong winds, and a few severe storms are possible.

Details regarding specifically how much rain, the timing, and the severity of storms are all uncertain at this time and will be better figured out as we get closer. However, it does look active at some point on Sunday.

It will turn much cooler after that system with lows again dropping into the 40s by next Monday night (11th) into Tuesday morning.

We will have more details as we get closer to the weekend. Trust and depend on the FOX 35 Storm Team.
