Orlando Weather Forecast: May 1, 2024

Temperatures warm up slightly mid-week with a stray chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the afternoons and evenings.

Rain should come to an end for our western counties, with lows into the mid-60s to near 70. Models indicate that some patchy fog may form near the Atlantic Coast from Palm Coast down to Melbourne. It may be dense at times.

Thursday will be another warm day, with highs back into the upper 80s to near 90 inland.

The sea breeze will return and could bring late afternoon showers and storms, but chances of rain seem lower and mostly isolated. Areas west of I-4 have the best chance of seeing meaningful rain.

Our forecast keeps warm through this weekend with daily isolated evening rain chances inland.

LOOKING AHEAD: No major or dramatic changes to the forecast are anticipated through the rest of this week across Central Florida. Temperatures will hold steady in the low 90s for inland areas and the low 80s near the beaches.

The sea breeze will help to keep isolated rain and storm chances on the map into the weekend. By next week, the big story will be the heat. Unseasonably hot temperatures arrive by the middle parts of the week, as highs potentially approach the mid-90s. Stay tuned for more!
