There are minimal rain chances in the coming days with breezy conditions setting up for the weekend.
ORLANDO, Fla. - Temperatures will remain hot across Central Florida on Thursday. For areas west of Interstate 95, temperatures will be well into the mid- to upper 90s and a few degrees on either side of 90 degrees east of I-95 near the beaches.
While temperatures will be high, our humidity values will not. Humidity levels will be much lower than what we're accustomed to, courtesy of a northerly wind ushering in the drier air.
Widespread rain chances are minimal, but isolated storms are expected to develop during the afternoon hours later in the week, offering a brief respite from the dry spell. This will be followed by a slightly cooler air mass, with temperatures in the upper 80s next week. There is a 20% chance of afternoon storms during this period.
Saturday marks the official start of the hurricane season. This is a crucial time for residents to prepare for potential tropical storms and hurricanes.
