Orlando weather forecast: Cold front to drop temperatures in Central Florida this weekend

Orlando and Central Florida will see widespread showers over the betters parts of Wednesday night and Thursday due to an approaching cold front.

ORLANDO, Fla. - Tonight's low: 73 degrees | Tomorrow's high: 85 degrees | Rain: 60%

Main weather concerns: Showers and storms will be on the rise starting on Wednesday night and continuing throughout the afternoon on Thursday. This activity is ahead of our next cold front. Within any storms, you can expect heavy rain at times, frequent lightning, and the potential for minor flooding. Rain looks to be light-moderate in nature.

BEACHES:
If you're heading to the beaches tomorrow, bring an umbrella. Passing showers will be possible both AM and PM, lighting storms could be of issue this afternoon. Rip current risk hold in the moderate range with surf in the 1-2' range. Highs along the beaches will remain in the lower 80s.

THEME PARKS:
The theme parks will see a rise in scattered showers and storms tomorrow. Coverage holds at 50% or so. Lightning storms will be possible, so if thunder roars head indoors. Highs park side rise into the mid-80s.

OUTLOOK:
A cold front will clear the area just in time for the weekend! You can expect clear and dry skies with highs in the low-80s and lows in the 50s and 60s by this weekend. Conditions will be dry through the start of next week.
