Orlando weather: Cold front sets for chillier Saturday night
ORLANDO, Fla. - TONIGHT: Clear, cool and breezy. Cooler air settles into the region dropping our temperatures through the 40s across the region tonight. Winds will be coming in from the N at 5-10 mph.
REST OF THE WEEKEND: Keeping the sunshine rolling through the rest of the weekend! A shot of warmer air pops our temperatures into the 70s on Sunday creating an "Illusion Warm Up" as high pressure off the east coast brings warmer air into the region. Highs Sunday will be in the upper 60s and low 70s with lows in the 50s.
COLD AIR ON THE WAY: Monday is our next chance of rain and storms as a cold front passes through and this will take the FRIGID ARCTIC air in Northern Canada and funnel it into the southeast. Highs will be mostly int he low 60s and 50s next week. Lows will be in the 40s and 30s. Front brings the possibility of gusty winds, heavy downpours at times and the chance of a stronger storm. Rain starts in the late morning and continues through the afternoon and the cold air RUSHES into the region in the late evening.
Tuesday is a WEATHER IMPACT DAY because of the significant 25-degree drop from Monday's to Tuesday's high and the frigid temperatures that are on the way.
