Orlando Weather Forecast: Oct. 17, 2023

Central Florida will enjoy another day of cool weather before our next chance of rain arrives.

Orlando Weather Forecast

Tonight's low: 54 degrees | Tomorrow's high: 73 degrees

Main weather concerns: Wednesday morning is a FOX 35 Weather Impact morning, as wake-up temperatures will dip into the 40s and 50s, so keep your jackets handy. Through the end of the week, temperatures will slowly rise to the low 80s.

"Our cooler-than-normal weather pattern persists for the better part of the next 10 days, as a series of cold fronts works through the region, reinforcing the cool and dry air, making for delightful fall weather," said FOX 35 Storm Team Meteorologist Brooks Garner. "This has also limited our rain chances, which are running at just 20% in the few opportunities for a few showers."

Garner said it will be downright gorgeous and represent weather we would typically see in late November, instead of mid-October. However, we should not expect to see any record-breaking cold temperatures as far as the high temperatures for the date or with record lows. A front moves across the state on Friday. Rain chances rise to 30% coverage, and then dry air arrives this weekend.

"Long-range models suggest we get back into season mid-80s with high humidity by the last week of this month," Garner added.

BEACHES:

It will be a breezy day at the beaches. Winds out of the NW at 10-15 mph and gusts up to 20 mph. Skies will be clear and dry with highs in the low 70s. The rip current risk is moderate. Surf is in the 2-4' range.
