Orlando Weather Forecast: March 12, 2024

Don't put away those winter jackets and sweaters just yet. After warm-up this weekend and showers early next week, colder temperatures will return to Central Florida.

It will be another crisp and cool night with temperatures below average. A clear sky and light winds are expected.

On Wednesday, there will be a blend of clouds and sun with a tiny chance for a sprinkle. The day starts out in the 50s for most of Central Florida, but temperatures will top out in the low 80s.

BEACH FORECAST: There is a high rip current risk with 1–3 feet of surf. This week, there will be high tides in the midday hours and low tides in the mid-evenings.

THEME PARK FORECAST: After a cool morning, it should be a very comfortable day in the parks. However, it will turn much hotter later this week.

LOOKING AHEAD: Thursday and Friday will be very nice, with temperatures in the mid to high 80s and mostly sunny skies.

Saturday will feature a few more clouds, with temperatures in the high 80s and more noticeable humidity. Sunday will turn breezy and partly cloudy, but despite those added clouds, it will be hot, and the temperature will likely be at or just over 90 degrees around Orlando.

A strong cold front is coming through at some point following Monday or Tuesday, likely Monday evening, with some showers and thunderstorms. At this point, widespread severe weather does not seem anticipated, but we will monitor for future updates. Next week, Tuesday will feature clearing skies with northwest winds and highs barely getting into the low 70s.

Next Wednesday and Thursday look chilly across Florida and the Eastern United States. Air temperatures will be in the 40s on Wednesday of next week, with highs in the upper 60s and 70s on Thursday.
