ORLANDO, Fla. - A man has been arrested in connection to what police are calling a deadly road rage altercation on E. Colonial Drive (State Road 50) in Orlando.
Nicholas Carrasquillo, 26, is charged with first-degree murder with a firearm.
Just before 6:30 a.m. on Monday, Orlando police officers responded to the area of E. Colonial Drive at Lake Baldwin Ln. following reports of a shooting. Officers discovered 30-year-old David Alexzander Sligh with a gunshot wound. Life-saving measures were attempted before Sligh was taken to a local hospital, where he died.

According to police, Carrasquillo remained on the scene and was taken into custody.
The incident caused the westbound lanes of East Colonial Drive to be shut down for hours.

SKYFOX flew over the scene near Linda's LaCantina Steakhouse, where multiple police cruisers could be seen lined up along the road. A nearby parking lot also appeared to be roped off.
