Orlando outlet malls embrace the Holiday rush

ORLANDO, FL. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Orlando International Premium outlets kicked off one of their busiest weekends of the year, Friday.

The outlet shopping mall is known for their deals. Shoppers told The News Station it was the perfect place to find last minute gifts. “We’re just last minute Christmas shopping for gifts for my nieces, nephews, sisters and family,” said one shopper.

The outlets released gift guides for those stumped on what to get certain people in their lives. Some shoppers opted for gift cards. However, others said a personalized gift is best. “A gift card is pretty much mailing it in for Christmas. You’ve got to be thoughtful, get in the mind of the person you want to shop for and get them something cool,” said another shopper.

The outlets are open until 11 P.M. through the weekend. Staff said they are expecting their busiest day Sunday before Christmas.
