Orlando man accused of killing his wife speaks out
ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - An Orlando man accused of killing his wife spoke out about the incident earlier this year.
David Tronnes is accused of killing his wife, Shanti Cooper-Tronnes, inside their Delaney park home back in April. Investigators found her body in the bathroom.
Tronnes said that he thinks she slipped and fell while getting into the bathroom.
"I don't have any explanation for the severity of her injuries. I don't have any explanation, and that's also the part that frightens me the most. I don't have an explanation for that," Tronnes said. "I don't think you're a bad guy. I don't think you're a cold-blooded killer. But I do think you killed your wife."
Tronnes is charged with first-degree murder. He is being held without bond at the Orange County Jail.
