ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando's Greyhound bus station was evacuated early Friday after employees complained of a mysterious order in the building. It was the second time in a week that an incident prompted the evacuation of the facility.
According to Orlando Fire, the department's hazmat team was dispatched just after 5 am when five people claimed they were being affected by a smell coming from somewhere in the building.
The station, which is located at 555 N. John Young Parkway, was briefly evacuated while firefighters investigated. Fire officials say no hazard was found and no one required transport to the hospital. The scene was cleared before 6 am.
On Christmas Eve morning a man claiming to have a bomb in his backpack forced another evacuation at the same place.. No bomb was located and the man making the threat was taken into custody.
