Large fire burns near Camping World Stadium

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Fire Department deployed multiple units to a large structure fire just a few blocks from Camping World Stadium late Wednesday.
The two-alarm fire broke out at a one-story commercial building located at 1328 West Pine Street. The fire was still raging just after 11 p.m.

RAW: Large building fire in downtown Orlando
Orlando firefighters are battling a 2-alarm fire at a commercial building in downtown Orlando.
Fire watch was conducted at the scene until 6:30 a.m. Thursday.
As of Thursday morning, the cause of the fire remains under investigation, a spokesperson for the Orlando Fire Department said in a statement.
Officials said the building that caught fire was a vacant place squatters often frequent. No one was inside the building at the time of the blaze, according to firefighters.
One OFD member sustained a minor injury and was treated at the scene.
"The fire was knocked down pretty quick," said Orlando Fire Chief Charlie Salazar. "Since we didn't do an interior attack, there are still little spot fires festering from the inside, but we assumed a defensive posture because we were concerned about the safety of our firefighters."

"We don't exactly know how the fire started, we don't know where it started but we're going to do a good investigation and hopefully piece everything together," Chief Salazar added.
Authorities said there were major impacts to traffic in the area, just as a soccer match between Real Madrid CF and Juventus concluded at the stadium.
