Orange County Sheriff's Office gives the public a look into motorcycle training

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - Orange County Sheriff's Office gave the public a glimpse of their rigorous motorcyle training.

The agency posted about their training on Facebook. Officers must go through an intensive 80-hour course and that is not an easy feat, they said.

Master Deputy Mike Johnson, an Orange County Sheriff's Office instructor, said that "this is one of the most dangerous jobs you can do in law enforcement. You don't have four doors. You have two wheels and that's it."

Once officers finish the course, officers must complete 40 hours of 'on the job' training before being considered for the motors team.
