One man dead, another in critical condition after shooting

The Orange County Sheriff's Office says that their deputies responded to a man down call with shots fired involving two victims on Sunday at 11 p.m.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered that the two victims were lying in the main driveway of the complex with gunshot wounds. A large crowd had formed prior to the deputies' arrival and had to be dispersed to facilitate treatment.

One victim, identified as 26-year-old Jorge Rivera, is deceased, while the other, identified as 38-year-old Joshua Casanova, is in critical condition.

So far, the investigation reveals an altercation both verbal and physical took place at the location with multiple individuals involved. At some point during, the melee shots were fired, injuring the two afore mentioned individuals.

Detectives from the Orange County Sheriff's Office reports that a black 2015 Chevrolet Impala bearing Florida license plate Y42 QEH was seen leaving the scene. Investigators believe that there may have been other victim’s in that vehicle. They are asking the occupants, or anyone who may know the identity of the occupants, to please call the Orange County Sheriff's Office or Crimeline.
