One dead in shooting in Clermont, deputies say

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. - A 31-year-old man was shot and killed at an apartment complex in Clermont, Florida, according to the Lake County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said two men got into some sort of confrontation at the Cagan Crossings apartment complex on Tuesday when one of the men shot the other, said Lt. Fred Jones, spokesperson for the agency. The man who died was identified as Dejuan Dior McWilliams.

Authorities have identified the alleged gunman. However, he has not been arrested or charged so FOX 35 is not naming him. Officials said the gunman and McWilliams did know each other.
