Deputies: 14-year-old dies after near-drowning at tourist-area hotel

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - UPDATE: The Orange County Sheriff's Office said a 14-year-old has died after what was initially a near-drowning case at an International Drive hotel. Officials said the incident happened at a Wyndham on Thursday.

Orange County Fire Rescue said it responded to a near-drowning incident on International Drive on Thursday.

They said that a juvenile went underwater. Crews performed CPR and the child was transported to a hospital.
