Ocala Police: Search ongoing for armed and dangerous felon

Benjamin Townsel is facing charges and is accused of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. 

OCALA, Fla. - Ocala Police are searching for a convicted felon, believed to be armed and dangerous.

There is a federal warrant out for the arrest of Benjamin Townsel, 22.

Police say that if you see him, do not approach him. Contact the Ocala Police Department immediately.  Anyone who sees Townsel or knows any information about him is encouraged to contact the Ocala Police Department at (352) 369-7000
