Nick’s Family Diner is closing after 15 years in Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. - Nick's Family Diner, a popular, family-owned restaurant in Orlando, is closing its doors after 15 years.

What we know: Known for its all-day breakfast and lunch sandwiches, the cherished diner first opened in 2010.

On Tuesday, Jan. 14, the diner posted a letter on its Facebook page announcing the closure of the beloved eatery.

The final day of service will be Sunday, Jan. 19.

"From early morning breakfasts to packed house lunches, we’ve shared so many laughs, stories, and unforgettable moments together," the letter, written by owners Angela and Nik, stated. "You’ve not only filled our booths but also our hearts with your kindness and encouragement."

They went on to thank the customers for their support over the years and acknowledged their staff - both past and present – for the hard work and passion they brought to the diner, saying, "We couldn’t have done this without you."

Why is Nick's Family Diner closing?

The diner owners did not disclose their reason for shutting down the eatery.
