New restaurant, Bigfire, to open at Universal Orlando Resort's CityWalk
ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - A new restaurant is coming to CityWalk at Universal Orlando.
The restaurant, named 'Bigfire,' will bring a fireside dining experience directly to guests. The full-service restaurant will feature a specially crated menu that takes open fire cooking to a whole new level.
Bigfire will reportedly make guests feel as though they have stepped into a lakeside summer house, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a summer evening by the water. The two-story venue will include natural design elements of mixed and matched fabrics and seating, cast iron, twinkling lights, camp laterns, and even a canoe suspended from the overhead rafters. This will create an outdoor ambience inside the restuarant.
Chefs at the restaurant use a custom wood fire grill to prepare signature dishes inspired by the style of open-fire cooking, but with a modern twist. Chefs will carefully match each food with a wood species that has been carefully chosen based on the flavor they exude.

Universal Orlando Resort says some of the entrees are a signature bison burger, coffee, chili, and cocoa rubbed top sirloin, freshwater trout, and smoked salads. Guests will also be able to order s'mores, which they can prepare themselves right at their table.
