Murder suspect tries to blame his dog for the death of his girlfriend

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - A murder suspect is trying to blame his dog for the death of his girlfriend. Justin Pruitt will appear before a judge in Seminole County.

According to the arrest warrant, Pruitt told police that he believed one of his three dogs was responsible for the shooting of Tiffany Linquanti, saying that they are very smart.

Detectives, however, are poking holes in that story. For example, they have scratches on his body indicating a struggle.
