Mother in critical condition after drive-by shooting riddles home with bullets

ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Police are hunting for a drive-by shooter who left a Pine Hills home riddled with bullets and a mother inside shot.

Fox 35 reporter Amanda McKenzie was on scene Tuesday morning and was told by police that a woman inside the home was shot and taken to the hospital.  She is in critical condition.

The woman shot is a mother of three teenage boys, who were all sleeping inside the home when this happened shortly before 2 a.m. on Carousel Road.

Police have not provided a description of the suspects or the vehicle involved in this drive-by shooting yet.

A forensic team and night investigative team is currently on scene.
