Monster Jam taking over Camping World Stadium

ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - A whole lot of monster truck mayhem is coming to Central Florida this weekend.

Camping World Stadium is ditching its turf for dirt. Monster Jam World Finals XX is running Friday and Saturday.  This year, the 12,000-pound "Grave Digger" and other monster trucks will start their runs above the seats in the stadium -- a first for the event.

"We've had Monster Jam finals for the last 19 years, and it's always been in the same location, and everybody has been kind of dialed-in and know how to set their trucks up," said Colt Stephens, Monster Jam driver.   "This evens the playing field. This is the first time any of us have been here, so there's no telling who's going to come out with the world championship. It's anybody's ball game right now."

There are seven championships up for grabs, as well as a new finals format and new competitions.
