ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - UPDATE: Lisa 'Alana' Pearce has been located. She is reportedly well and will be reunited with her family.
ORIGINAL STORY: The Altamonte Springs Police Department is asking for the public's help locating a missing 12-year-old girl.
Lisa "Alana" Pearce was last seen on Sept. 18 around 5:00 p.m. Her mother says she came home around 5:20 p.m. and noticed that Lisa was not there and the back door was open.
"Pearce's family and officers canvassed the areas where Pearce frequents and were unable to locate her. Her mother said this is unusual behavior for Pearce," said the police department.
Pearce is described at 5-feet 5-inches tall, weighing around 125 pounds. She has dark red hair and blue eyes. Pearce was last seen wearing a white button-down shirt with rainbow hearts, black jeans and a Vans backpack that had a rainbow pattern and kittens printed on it.
