Man barricades self inside Lake Nona-area home
ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Authorities say an armed man who had barricaded himself inside a Lake Nona-area home is now in custody following a brief standoff with the Orlando Police Department's SWAT unit.
Homes along Dowden Road in the WaterEdge community were evacuated while a crisis negotiator attempted to coax the man outside of the house. That man was being questioned by police shortly before 11 p.m.
