DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Neighbors in Daytona Beach held a lemonade stand fundraiser to raise money to help in the recovery of Officer Jason Raynor.
Raynor, 26, is in the hospital after being shot in the head on Wednesday. Daytona Beach Police say Othal Wallace, 29, was responsible for the shooting.
He was arrested in Georgia on Saturday and is waiting to be extradited back to Daytona Beach.

Members of the community said they wanted to help Officer Raynor in any way that they could. They got the idea for the lemonade fundraiser after doing one for the humane society.
"Just show Officer Raynor and the community that we support him and the community supports him," said organizer Kelsie Owens.
"He's injured right now, we're out here to support him 100% and all our first responders and all law enforcement in Volusia County," added Bill Kamer, the Bayberry Lakes HOA president.

In their latest update, Daytona Beach Police say Raynor is making progress at Halifax Health. They say he's strong enough now to undergo more tests to aid his recovery, but he has a long road ahead.
His supporters say they're ready to help.
"We saw the sign and we just felt like donating," said Jayden Ferguson, who was buying lemonade.
Owens says a previous lemonade fundraiser she held for the local Humane Society raised more than $300. Even before they’d officially started Sunday, they'd already raised more than $100.

"The other night at midnight I reached out to him, I said listen if we could do this much for the Humane Society, just imagine what we could do for Officer Raynor," Owens said.
Keller Williams Realty and the local 7-Eleven contributed to the fundraising effort.
"Great, I think this is amazing that they're doing this. Every little bit will help that officer and his family," said John Toia, who was buying lemonade.
If you couldn't make it to the fundraiser, the Daytona Beach Police Department created a GoFundMe page for Officer Raynor and his family.
