(FOX 11) - A hotel vandalism suspect was taken into custody Wednesday after leading authorities on a chase from Inglewood to just south of Bakersfield.
According to the California Highway Patrol, police were searching for a suspect involved in vandalism at a hotel room in Inglewood.
The suspect failed to yield and the chase began at about 3 p.m.
The driver of the silver, two-door Mercedes-Benz led CHP officers down the 405 Freeway and onto the 5 Freeway.
The driver eventually exited the 5 Freeway and pulled over to a gas station just south of Bakersfield in Kern County where he was arrested.
