A 65-year-old man is dead, his body found very close to a restaurant Sunday afternoon.

Police are trying to find who killed him.

A homicide investigation is underway as Orlando police detectives combed the scene Sunday.

It happened very close to the Numero Uno Cuban cuisine on South Orange Avenue.

Sisi Davis lives nearby. She said, "We hardly ever see something like this. Death."

Orlando Police said a passerby discovered the unresponsive man lying in front of a closed business near Downtown Orlando.

OPD said the 65-year-old victim had obvious and apparent signs of trauma, leading them to investigate this as a homicide.

Davis couldn't help but look on at the aftermath of violence very close to home.

"We don't know who that is," she said. "We're hoping that it's not our good friend that we know."

For Davis this death might be the last straw.

"It is," Davis said. "It's too much. I've been here...'gosh, how long have I been in Orlando?' About 16 years. It's time for me to go."

Eric Clough also lives close by. He too hopes the victim isn't someone he knows.

Clough said, "My prayers just goes out to the family."

Right now OPD said it doesn't have any suspect information, but they are canvassing the area.

If you have any information about this, you're asked to call the Orlando Police or Crimeline.
