'Mob' takes over Orange County intersection, deputies say

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a street takeover on Nov. 30 at South John Young Parkway and Central Florida Parkway in south Orlando. Approximately 30 people set a fire, performed burnouts, and damaged vehicles, including one with a mother and baby inside.

What happened?

Two days after Thanksgiving, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said a group of people shut down an intersection south of Orlando. The group allegedly set a fire in the middle of the intersection, where cars then did donuts and burnouts around that fire.

Deputies said some people also damaged vehicles by stomping on car windshields, including one that had a mother and baby inside.

Video shared by the sheriff's office – pulled from social media – showed people yelling and screaming, smoke clouding the area, someone appearing to slide down the back of a vehicle, and performing donuts simultaneously.

‘Reckless and violent'

"This reckless and violent behavior poses a serious danger to our community and we are committed to holding those responsible accountable," the sheriff's office said in its post.

Orange County street takeover: Recognize any of these individuals?
