Governor Rick Scott meets with Melbourne veterans

MELBOURNE, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Governor Rick Scott is making a stop in Central Florida on Wednesday.

The Governor is expected to be in Melbourne on Wednesday morning. It is part of his campaign for Senate. He will be speaking with the Veterans for Scott coalition. The event is at Eddies Sunrise Diner at 9 a.m.

Scott is facing off against Democratic Senator Bill Nelson. The most recent political poll has Scott up 2 points, leading 46% to 44%.
