OVIEDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Trappers with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission have located and captured an alligator believed to have attacked a woman on Friday.
Authorities said the woman was wading in waist-deep water in the Econlockhatchee River at the Little Big Econ State Forest, when she received a non life-threatening bite on her arm. She was transported to the hospital for treatment. The alligator was measured at 10 feet, 8 inches in length.
