Four Seasons Resort Orlando shows off life-sized gingerbread house

The Four Seasons Resort Orlando has a life-sized gingerbread house on display for the holiday season.

The gingerbread house is free to view and available through Jan. 2, 2025.

Four Seasons Resort officials say the house is composed of 800 pounds of gingerbread, 600 pounds of sugar, 400 pounds of chocolate and 300 pounds of fondant.

The gingerbread house was constructed by Executive Pastry Chef Rabii Saber and his team of pastry professionals through more than 600 hours of work, resort leaders say.

The gingerbread house is decorated from top to bottom and features pastel hues, a theme similar to Candyland.

The house boasts a sugary-snow roof topped with a whimsical border of ice cream cones, a crushed M&M candy "gravel" ground, pastel chocolate donuts and macaroons, just to name a few decorations.

A nutcracker made entirely of chocolate stands outside the house.

The gingerbread house is free for guests to view in the lobby of the resort.

The resort also will feature a roller rink running from Dec. 21-31.

Resort leaders say retro rink foods will be offered for purchase, including concession-style delights, such as slushies, gourmet popcorn, cotton candy and holiday microbrews.

The roller rink will be available for guests who stay overnight at the resort only.
