Florida theme parks, attractions closed due to Hurricane Matthew

Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort are monitoring conditions related to Hurricane Matthew.

Walt Disney World theme parks, water parks, Disney Springs, miniature golf courses and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex will all be closed today by 5 p.m. and will remain closed through Friday, Oct. 7.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Theme Park is also canceled for tonight and tomorrow.

SeaWorld Orlando will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6 and CLOSED on Friday, Oct. 7. The park will be open from 10 a.m. to 7: p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, with normal Spooktacular activities from noon – 7 p.m.  SeaWorld's water park, Aquatica Orlando will be closed on Thursday and Friday.  

Due to severe weather brought on by Hurricane Matthew, the Coca-Cola Orlando Eye will be closed Thursday and Friday until weather conditions improve and it is safe to begin operations again.  For those who are unable to experience the Coca-Cola Orlando Eye, tickets will remain valid for 30 days.

LEGOLAND Florida Resort will operate as scheduled Thursday, Oct. 6, but may close early due to the approach of Hurricane Matthew.  For the safety of all guests and employees, LEGOLAND Florida Theme Park will remain closed Friday, Oct. 7, but LEGOLAND Hotel will be open to admit arriving guests. They expect to operate as scheduled Saturday, Oct. 8, but will continue to monitor the storm’s projected path and will make adjustments as necessary.

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will be closed Thursday, Oct 6, and Friday, Oct 7. Programs such as ATX and Overnight Adventures are also canceled.   They anticipate reopening on Saturday, Oct 8 9 am - 6 pm.

Universal Orlando will be closed on Thursday at 5 p.m., both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure as well as City Walk.  Halloween Horror Nights has been canceled, and the park will be closed Friday. Normal operation in effect for Saturday at this time. 

Wet N' Wild will be closed at 2 p.m. Thursday and closed Friday.
