Florida teens crash into business during string of burglaries, police say
KISSIMMEE, Fla. - St. Cloud Police arrested three Kissimmee teenagers accused of burglarizing several vehicles and businesses along Commerce Center Drive on Thursday morning.
Investigators said the group used a car stolen from Kissimmee to target Kia owners and others in the Summer Cove community.
"Just before 5 a.m., the teens used their vehicle as a battering ram to drive through the wall of Signal Zero Supplies on Commerce Center Drive. After breaking through the front wall, the car became stuck, and the three Hispanic teens fled on foot, eventually using a rideshare app to try to escape," said a St. Cloud Police spokesperson.
