Florida man killed by Brightline train after walking on tracks in Cocoa, officials say
COCOA, Fla. - A 40-year-old man was killed late Saturday night after walking on the train tracks and being struck by a Brightline train in Cocoa, officials say.
According to officials, the fatal collision occurred around 9:30 p.m. on the 800 block of Cocoa boulevard.
Reports suggest the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
This is the third fatal Brightline crash since the new year.
This investigation is ongoing.
