A 15-year-old is behind bars after his own father recognized him in a photo from the sheriff's office.
MARION COUNTY, Fla. - A Florida father turned in his 15-year-old son to authorities after he recognized him in a suspect photo shared by the Marion County Sheriff's Office on social media, officials said.
The backstory:
On. Jan. 22, shortly before 2:30 a.m., deputies said someone stole a Lincoln MKZ that was parked at Ocala Charter High School.
Deputies said the car was found abandoned on NE 42nd Street after a joyride.

On Tuesday, the sheriff's office posted surveillance photos of the suspect in hopes that someone would recognize him and come forward with information.

What they're saying:
"Shortly after posting these images, Detective Coates was contacted by an individual who identified the person as his 15-year-old son," the sheriff's office said in an update on Facebook.
The teenager was arrested on a charge of grand theft of a motor vehicle and was booked into the Department of Juvenile Justice.
